And the deeper into the game I got it started feeling more like it was 50%. The game had what I felt was a 30% chance to crash upon saving or entering/leaving an area. I cleared my PS4 Pro system cache and games cache and that did nothing either so I assume the problem goes much deeper. If I remember correctly Skyrim had a similar problem on the PS3 many moons ago when it launched. I assume it's a cache problem in which saving too many times over many hours of playtime can trigger crashes over the course of the game. It only got worse the deeper into the game I got. it's one thing to crash once in a blue moon, but at least 2-4 times per play session? That's unacceptable! However, not in a million years would I expect the game to be so poorly optimized. I've always loved the Fallout series both new and old so I knew what I was in for. A few years pass and I bump into the game again on a PSN sale and so I bite the bullet and finally jump in.
